Today is officially my first day in Paris and at this point I think I've been awake for nearly 36 hours. I started this adventure at 5:30am wednesday morning and arrived in Chicago@11:00ish (only to have to wait 5 hours before I could board another plane). If you were following me on twitter you already know that it wasn't the smoothest transition ever but I did eventually make it to my company's office and was even able to navigate the Paris Metro all the way to my apartment.
I documented the trip as best I could with my iPhone camera and should have some pictures up either tomorrow or the day after. I had no idea what to expect given that this was the first transoceanic flight I've ever been on. The very first thing that caught my eye as I was riding from the airport to DT Paris was the graffiti. It's literally everywhere, on the side walks, all over the apartment buildings, and au revoir even on the trucks.
I want to keep writing but I'm about to fall asleep on my key board. au revoir!
